12+ Ways To Strengthen Self-Worth

We all go through moments in life that feel like a kick in the gut and make us question our purpose and worth.
For me, it was wondering if I could build a career outside corporate America, whether I’d recover post-divorce, or whether all of my hard work on the podcast would generate sustainable results. For my friend, Susie Carder (aka “The Profit Coach”), it was overcoming her childhood poverty, experiencing multiple divorces, and the fear of losing credibility after losing 90% of her wealth a decade ago.
Thankfully, through lots of soul-searching and personal development work, we’ve been able to see the silver lining of those limiting beliefs by strengthening our self-worth every single day.
To develop an empowering sense of self-worth, do these things:
•Love on yourself, daily.
•Be forgiving of others and yourself.
•Know your values and live them consistently.
•Make time for the things that make you happy.
•Stand up for yourself and what you believe.
•Get out of your head and into your body.
•Accept all of yourself, and any perceived limitations.
•Believe you can be whoever you want to be.
•Give your all and follow-through.
•Celebrate all wins, both big and small.
•Accept compliments & let people help/love you.
•Be grateful for how far you’ve come, and where you are.
•See the beauty in everything and everyone.
It’s thanks to tips like these that I have been able to continue to stay focused as my business evolves and why Susie now runs a nine-figure business. As she puts it: no matter what your goals are, the achievements you’ll reach “will only go as high as your self-worth.”
