Claiming Your Truth

What does it mean to ‘claim your truth?’

I was recently asked this question during my appearance on Franny Nicole’s podcast (‘Claiming Your Truth’), and I think the best way I can answer it is “only YOU know.”

For me, its…

•Speaking up (even when I feel scared).

•Going for what I want (despite what’s expected).

•Living my values (when tempted to act out or fit in).

•Following my instincts (instead of making heady/knee-jerk decisions).

•Prioritizing openness and honesty (over perfection & looking good).

•Being aware and responsible (vs. avoidant and ignorant).

•Living from my heart (when I’m feeling stubborn and selfish).

•Remembering I’m unique, worthy, and should never sell out.

Even though ‘claiming your truth’ may look differently for you, I think we can agree that what’s most important is living it!

As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”

Wishing you a week full of realness and claimed truths!

Much love,
Mark
